Cheduputtu is located in the Araku Valley at a higher altitude. During the monsoon months the farmers are able to provide water to their crops, however they also need a year long supply of steady water. Hence the solar panel project was born. It helps pump water from a stream up the mountain which is then sent down to tanks in the farms.
